Quick tips
- Design to the safe area, keep text and logos away from the edges, especially on Stories and Reels where UI overlaps.
- Export at 2x for retina screens, then compress, sharp but not heavy.
- Portrait (4:5 and 9:16) takes more screen space on mobile and usually out-performs square.
- Keep the most important second of any video first, most viewers decide in under three seconds.
- Add captions, the majority of feed video is watched on mute.
