How we collect, use and protect your information, and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: June 2026

Who we are

This website is operated by Purple Space Digital ("we", "us", "our"), a digital agency based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, working with clients across the UK. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. If you have any questions, you can reach us at hello@purplespace.co.uk.

The information we collect

We only collect what we need to run our business and respond to you:

  • Information you give us. When you complete our contact or consultation form we collect your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and the details of your enquiry. If you join our newsletter we collect your email address.
  • Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting keeps basic server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited) to keep the site secure and working. We also use a small number of cookies and similar technologies, described in our cookie policy.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To respond to your enquiry and to provide a quote or our services. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in running our business.
  • To send you our newsletter, where you have asked us to. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe and useful.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run our business (for example email, hosting and analytics providers), and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information where we are required to by law.

Storing your information

Some of our service providers may store data outside the UK. Where that happens, we take steps to make sure your information is protected by appropriate safeguards. We keep enquiry and client information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and then delete it securely.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to access your information, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to ask for a copy in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@purplespace.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.

Keeping your data safe

We use sensible technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take security seriously.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
